ABOUT ME
Victor Adame is a Chicano filmmaker from Riverside, California with Navajo roots. As a writer, actor, and producer, he received his Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine and his Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting from Chapman University. Aside from his education, he has worked with prominent film companies ranging from the Sundance Institute to The Black List. He was part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Gold Rising Program. He was also among ten selected for the 2024 National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Series Scriptwriters program. As a writer, he tells stories about complicated Latino families affected by politics and social injustice. He is currently working on his first feature film - a semi-autobiographical family drama set in his hometown of Riverside, California. When he’s not writing, you can find him traveling, making espresso variations, and rescuing cats.
